T-Mobile Burglars Caught in the Act
For Immediate Release
Thursday June 5, 2008

CHANDLER, AZ. On June 5, 2008 at approximately 4:00 A.M., the Chandler Police property crimes unit arrested 2 burglars caught in the act of burglarizing a T-Mobile Store, located at 7131 W. Ray Road.  Acting on a study of recent burglaries to T-Mobile stores, the property crimes unit conducted surveillance at the 3 T-Mobile stores in Chandler.  On 06-05-08 at approximately 2:45 A.M., the burglars arrived at the T-mobile store located at 7131 W. Ray Road and were observed by undercover detectives conducting counter surveillance of the area.  At approximately 4:00 AM, the burglars forced entry into the store by smashing the front glass window with a sledgehammer.  Shortly thereafter, the property crimes unit, with the help of two K-9’s, arrested the pair without incident.

The suspects have been identified as 25-year-old Warren Johnson of Phoenix and 26 year-old Ralph Boone of Phoenix.  The suspects have been connected to a rash of burglaries of T-Mobile stores in Mesa and Gilbert.  Both suspects were dressed in all black, wearing ski masks and gloves.  Attached are booking photos of the suspects as well as photos from the surveillance camera.
