To provide a safe community where people can live, work, and thrive
Welcome to chandlerazpd.gov. Chandler, AZ is a vibrant city known for its low crime rates, rapidly growing economy, family-friendly atmosphere, exceptional amenities, and proud history. I am honored to serve as the City’s Interim Chief of Police during this time of transition for our police department. Having worked alongside the men and women of the Chandler Police Department for 25 years, I can say with conviction we have a department that is committed to working with our community. Our success as an agency relies on the strong partnerships that we have with those who live, work, or visit our city.
This website will give an overview of the diverse programs and services we have available for our citizens. These include Vacation Watch, the Youth Wilderness Academy, the Senior Lockbox, Return Me Safe program, just to name a few.
This page also allows you to access forms to make a public records request, report crimes that are not in progress online, and sign up for the Citizens Police Academy or Neighborhood Watch.
Our officers are well-equipped, well-trained, and very engaged in the community. We are committed to ensuring that Chandler remains a safe city where you can live, work and play. Thank you for visiting our website.

The Chandler Police Department implemented the Moments of Truth philosophy within our department viewing each citizen contact as an opportunity to prevent crime by earning the respect, trust, and support of the community.
The cornerstone of our success as a police agency has been predicated on the level of trust, support and respect we receive from our community. Over the course of many years of service and sacrifice we have developed a proud reputation in our community through meaningful dialogue with community leaders, residents and businesses.
The Chandler Police Department recently deployed non-emergency text messaging capabilities in our communications center in an effort to provide our citizens with an alternative means to contact the department.
